Dawin Sichimba is a Medical Doctor from. He is the current President of the Association of Future African Neurosurgeons (AFAN) where he is also a Neurosurgery and Global Neurosurgery Research Fellow. He is a Junior Committee Member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) Global Neurosurgery Committee. He extensively authored and co-authored over 15 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented more than 5 abstracts on international conferences. He is a co-founder of the Ubuntu SISAD and was a semifinalist in the 2021 Bay Area Global Health Innovation Challenge. He is also the Founder of EquoHealth, an International NGO that seeks to promote equality and equity of access to healthcare services in Africa through social entrepreneurship. His main interest is in Neurosurgery in order to efficiently contribute to the Neurosurgical workforce, training and research in Zambia and Africa. He is also passionate about equalization of access to healthcare services in Zambia and Africa
