Present with Clarity: WCMSR Presenter Bootcamp

12 June 2027 · Saturday · 14:00–15:30 UTC · Free online session

Intention. Help emerging researchers present a truthful, memorable scientific story and handle questions with confidence.

What you will take away

  • Build a narrative around the question, method, result, and limitation.
  • Simplify slides and choose figures that earn their space.
  • Practice timing, transitions, and candid responses to questions.

Why this matters for medical students

A presentation is not a compressed manuscript. This bootcamp helps medical students make their evidence accessible to an international audience.

Applied activity: Practice a one-minute opening and a short Q&A scenario.

People behind the session

Meet the contributor. Sayali Sandeep Kulkarni brings WCMSR stage and abstract-management experience to the craft of explaining research clearly.

Sayali Sandeep Kulkarni

Medical student, Georgian National University SEU, Georgia · IJMS Student Editor

Sayali served as Master of Ceremonies and Abstract Manager at WCMSR 2026 and has helped plan scientific programs and review abstracts for student conferences. She has also published research and conference abstracts. Her mix of research and on-stage conference experience informs her interest in scientific storytelling, clear slides, and confident answers to questions.

Why her perspective helps: a strong presentation makes the evidence and its limits memorable to an international audience.
