Partnering with IJMS

The International Journal of Medical Students (IJMS) partners with universities, medical schools, teaching hospitals, research programs, scientific societies, medical-student organizations, conferences, foundations, and other mission-aligned organizations to advance medical-student research, scholarly communication, research education, and Diamond Open Access publishing.

Partnerships may support scholarly publication, institutional research development, educational initiatives, conference activities, and the long-term sustainability of the Journal's nonprofit mission. All collaborations preserve the editorial independence of the IJMS.

Editorial Independence

Partnership with the IJMS does not purchase or guarantee publication. Partner institutions, sponsors, donors, conference organizers, and financial contributors do not control manuscript acceptance, independent peer-review decisions, editorial outcomes, or post-publication actions. The IJMS retains final authority over its scientific standards and published record.

Detailed provisions are available on the Ownership and Governance page.
