Monica Karanth is a MBBS graduate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India and Postgraduate aspirant also working as peer reviewer and researcher. She has also done many volunteer camps and works organized by both private and government organizations. She has received many grants for her research including the ICMR Short Term Studentship 2020 Grant and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Short Term Research Grant. She has cultivated knowledge in topics related to human physiology, biochemistry, stress in medical curriculum, immunohematology, neonatal sepsis and published scientific articles in same. She is enthusiastic about being part of the development of high-potential manuscripts by fellow students with adequate knowledge of correct scientific communication techniques. She has attended conferences and received mentorship from the Chief of Research, Father Muller Medical College, India about research protocols and methods. She wishes to be part of the rapidly-changing research shaping the current and future Medicine.
