Oxiris Yexalén García González

Oxiris is a medical student at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico, with a passion for clinical research and global health. She has held various research and leadership roles, including Editor in Chief of Homeostasis Medical Journal and research assistant in robotic surgery ergonomics at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami. Oxiris has contributed to diverse fields, such as regenerative medicine, cerebrospinal flow, otorhinolaryngology, and nephrology. Her work has led to multiple peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses comparing surgical techniques. Her main research interests include surgery and surgical specialties, as well as tissue engineering, molecular biology, and surgical sciences. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Student Surgical Network and Partners in Health, and has been recognized as a BBVA Foundation Leaders of Tomorrow scholar. Fluent in English and Spanish, Oxiris aims to combine her medical training and research expertise to advance clinical care and education globally.
