Announcing the Selected Research Presentations for WCMSR 2026

Dear IJMS Readers,

On behalf of the International Journal of Medical Students (IJMS), we are pleased to announce the research selected for presentation at the World Conference of Medical Student Research (WCMSR), taking place on July 11–12, 2026 freely available for everyone and streemed online in our YouTube channel

This year, WCMSR received nearly 200 submissions from medical students and young researchers worldwide. Following a rigorous peer-review and scoring process, the Scientific Committee selected the highest-scoring submissions for podium and poster presentation. While scientific quality was the primary selection criterion, the final program also reflects the conference's commitment to global participation and international collaboration, with representation from countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The selected studies highlight emerging scholarship in artificial intelligence, clinical medicine, surgery, public health, medical education, epidemiology, mental health, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, and health systems research.
