My name is Dr. Lance De Barry, and I am an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident with a strong commitment to advancing women’s health. My clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecological surgery and gynecological oncology, areas where I strive to bring innovative treatment approaches and improve patient outcomes. In addition to my medical training, I am currently pursuing an MBA in Hospital and Health Services Management. My goal is to combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership to contribute meaningfully to healthcare systems, ensuring that high-quality, patient-centered care remains at the forefront of organizational decision-making. Research and academic collaboration have always been integral to my career. I have published 17 peer-reviewed articles, all indexed in PubMed, and I regularly serve as a peer reviewer for top medical journals. These roles allow me to stay current with evolving evidence-based practices and help maintain rigorous standards for scientific publications. I am honored to serve on the editorial board of Women’s Health (SAGE Journals), where I help guide the journal’s direction and ensure the publication of impactful research in the field of women’s health. Additionally, I hold the position of Associate Editor at Cureus Medical Journal, where I oversee manuscript reviews and support authors through the publication process. Ultimately, I am driven by a passion for patient care, a dedication to research innovation, and a desire to enhance healthcare delivery. By merging my clinical background with my management education, I aim to lead positive change in women’s health, both in the operating room and at the organizational level.
