Mahin Qudeer Sheikh

As a third-year Medical Student at Ameer-ud-Din Medical College, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, I am driven to pursue a career as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Scientist in the USA. My interests also extend to Cardio-oncology and Public Health.

Throughout my academic journey, I have engaged in various research methodologies including Narrative Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Case Series, and Network meta-analyses. I possess adept skills in Synopsis Writing, Methodology, Data Collection, Manuscript Writing, and Literature Review. Additionally, my soft skills encompass Team Management, Communication, Leadership, Creative Thinking, and the ability to work under Pressure. Currently, I am an active member of the research team at Gender Equity in Global Surgery, an affiliate of Harvard Program in Global Surgery and Social Change (PGSSC).

I am enthusiastic about fostering collaboration among Medical Students and early career researchers worldwide to achieve their research objectives. This endeavor necessitates international cooperation and collective effort.

Furthermore, I am a Student Member of esteemed organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Cardiology, among others.
