Pauras Mhatre is currently pursuing his fourth year of medical school at Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai. His research interests primarily lie in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sexual Health, and Queer (LGBTQIAP+) Healthcare. He envisions a long-term career in the same, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, technology, evidence-based medicine (research), DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion), and public health advocacy. He has published over 10 articles in national and international indexed medical journals and authored academic books. He has presented in multiple scientific conferences, meetings, and symposia and has been awarded for the same. Pauras is a recipient of the prestigious Khorana scholarship by the Indian Government. Additionally, he has served various other editorial, leadership, and volunteering roles and has been invited by research and student organizations for talks, seminars, and workshops.
