Varsha Sathyabal

I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated Prefinal year MBBS student at Government Medical College, Omandurar Government Estate, Chennai, with a strong passion for research, academics, and community service. I have 18 ongoing research projects, including 11 original research articles and 4 case reports. My areas of research primarily focus on Neurosurgery and Neurosciences however, I have extended research interests in the fields of Oncology, General Surgery, Radiology, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Pathology, ENT, Community Medicine, Biochemistry, and Physiology.

My enthusiasm for gaining clinical experience extends to my involvement in several medical workshops across the country where I have gained hands-on experience in clinical skills. I have attended International and National level medical conferences where I have presented my ongoing research projects and case studies. I have indulged in several inter-college competitions including quizzes, Research paper presentations, poster presentations, and case presentations where I have showcased my knowledge and earned accolades. As a medical student, I focus on gaining clinical knowledge and as much research experience as possible to become a competent clinician delivering patient-focused medical care.
