Camilla Weveti Nyaga is a final-year medical student at the University of Nairobi with a strong interest in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Hematology, and Psychiatry. She is particularly passionate about reproductive health, maternal-fetal medicine, hematologic disorders, and the psychiatric impact of chronic diseases. Her medical training has provided broad exposure to internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and specialized fields, equipping her with a well-rounded clinical foundation. Through this experience, she has developed a deep appreciation for evidence-based medicine, multidisciplinary care, and medical research. She is actively engaged in academic research and medical education, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, hematologic malignancies, and mental health in chronic illness. She aspires to contribute to advancements in these fields through clinical practice, research, and policy development. Beyond academics, Camilla is committed to professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration, aiming to improve patient outcomes and bridge gaps in healthcare. Her long-term goal is to play a meaningful role in advancing women’s health, hematology, and mental healthcare through research and innovation.
