Caroline Gitonga is a medical student and medical physiologist with a strong foundation in human physiology, experimental research, and scientific writing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Physiology from the University of Nairobi. Her research experience spans experimental design, data analysis, and critical appraisal of scientific literature. As a student in the Department of Human Anatomy and Medical Physiology, she has gained hands-on experience in physiological experiments, serving as a demonstrator and guiding peers in laboratory work. Her scholarly pursuits include participation in Stanford University; Writing in the Sciences course, where she refined her ability to produce clear and concise medical writing for academic and public audiences. Caroline is passionate about medical research, evidence-based practice, and scientific communication. She is skilled in experimental techniques, manuscript writing, and health advocacy, with a keen interest in translating research into clinical applications. Through her leadership role as Head of Publicity at the University of Nairobi Research Club, she actively promotes research engagement among students.
