Himanshu is a final-year medical student at Ramaiah Medical College with a strong interest in neurology, clinical research, and medical education. He has co-authored and presented abstracts at prestigious conferences, including the AHA Scientific Sessions and World Stroke Congress, and has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Neurology India. His research primarily focuses on stroke outcomes, vascular neurology, and the role of sleep quality in cerebrovascular health. Beyond research, Himanshu has gained clinical experience through electives in neurology and infectious diseases in both India and the United States. He has worked under esteemed neurologists and infectious disease specialists, gaining exposure to complex inpatient care and advanced diagnostic modalities. His goal as a Junior Student Editor is to contribute to IJMS by supporting high-quality student-led research and encouraging more students to publish in neurology, a field often perceived as challenging.
