Kyle T. Enriquez

Kyle Enriquez serves as an Associate Editor for IJMS, and is an MD/PhD Candidate in the laboratory of Eric Skaar, PhD, MPH. Kyle obtained his bachelor’s in science and masters’ in science from Stanford University, in Chemistry and Biology respectively. Kyle has published more than a dozen works spanning medical education, bacteriology, virology, immunology, and clinical infectious diseases of the immunocompromised host. His thesis work, focused on the distribution of nutrient metal zinc across the host-microbe interface, has been highlighted on the international stage in the form of invited talks and recognition as an author on conference proceedings. This research track record has led to his appointment as a leader in the American Physician Scientists Association, as well as his selection as an American Society for Microbiology FLMF Fellow.
