Pranjal Patil is a dedicated final year student pursuing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College. Having successfully passed USMLE Step 1 on her first attempt last year, she is actively preparing to match into an internal medicine residency, with a particular interest in oncology. She was one of the selected members of the International School Of Oncology at All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS- Bhopal), where she presented a research paper on “ Therapeutic potential of immunomodulatory agents in producing abscopal effect in metastatic cancer”. Driven by a deep sense of ethics and social responsibility, she strongly opposes female foeticide and advocates for gender equality in healthcare. This is reflected in her published article “You were once me” in the Standing committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights, including HIV & AIDS ( SCORA - MSAI). She has been working with the International Association of Student Surgical Societies - Asia ( IASSS) for four years and is the Research Exchange officer for the Medical Student Association of India. With a keen analytical mind and a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Pranjal aspires to bridge clinical practice with cutting-edge research, contributing meaningfully to advancements in medicine and oncology.
