Riddhi Mondal

Riddhi is a final year medical student at a premiere institute in Kolkata, India. She has a keen interest in becoming a physician-scientist. Her strong background in medical research stems from her affinity towards Internal Medicine. She has published papers in internationally-acclaimed journals (PubMed-indexed), and she has recently submitted one of her systematic reviews on the detection of breast cancer from methylated DNA sequence at an international conference. Riddhi has received the prestigious ICMR STS 2023 award (given by the Indian Council of Medical Research) for her research project in Microbiology. She has also served as the West Bengal State Director of the Research Wing at Global Association of Indian Medical Students (GAIMS) and the State e-Journal Coordinator at Student Network Organisation (SNO). She is a member of several student organisations like the Asian Medical Students Association (AMSA) and the Med Students' Network (MSN).
