Dr. Snigdha Sharma is an Orthopaedics resident with a strong academic and editorial foundation, specializing in exercise physiology, sports medicine,community healthcare, and musculoskeletal injuries. A graduate of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, Maharashtra, india, she has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed publications spanning topics such as heart rate variability, VO₂ max, physical fitness, reproductive hygiene. She currently serves as a peer reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals, including the Nigerian Medical Journal, Cureus Journal of Medical Science, TMR Publications, and The British Student Doctor Journal. She is also an editor for the book series “Futuristic Trends in Medical Sciences”. Dr. Sharma has presented her research at both national and international platforms and has received multiple accolades, including the International Best Researcher Award (2023) and the Young Researcher Award (2022). She has held key leadership roles such as Chairperson of ANALYTICA, Director of Research at the Global Surg Network, President of International Relations (GAIMS), and Organising Secretary of WEBMEDQUEST 2020—India’s first all-virtual national medical conference. Her work is driven by a vision to integrate orthopaedic clinical care with research in performance science, aiming to promote evidence-based strategies for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and peak physical performance.
