The International Journal of Medical Students uses Open Journal Systems 3.0, which is an open-source journal management and publishing software developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.
The IJMS follows a classic peer-review process but we have added an additional step, Student Editors, to help authors to enhance their manuscript before it goes to external peer-reviewers.
